Portugal Flag

The flag of Portugal features a green band that occupies two-fifths of the flag with a red band filling out the remaining portion.  Red remembers the Portuguese uprising in 1910 and all the lives lost, and green symbolizes hope and optimism for a brighter future.  The Portugal shield is between the green and red bands.
