Ohio State Flags
Ohio's flag is truly unusual. It is the only state flag in the shape of a burgee and was designed by John Eisenmann, an architect and engineer. The red, white and blue colors are in homage to the American flag. There are seventeen stars to indicate Ohio was the seventeenth state to join the nation. The white O represents the first letter in Ohio. The red disc in the center of the O represents the Buckeye seed from the state tree. Ohio is known as the Buckeye state.
Ohio state flags are made in America of durable 100% SolarMax nylon, the strongest and most fade-resistant nylon material available.
