Miniature Maldives Flag

Silk-like flags measure 4" x 6"  and are securely attached to 10" black staffs topped with gilt spears.  All four sides are sewn.  Bright colors.  They are perfect for everything from long term desk display to parade and celebration giveaways.

The Maldives flag was officially adopted on July 26, 1965 and features red as a primary color because red was the original color of the country's first flag.  Green symbolizes peace and prosperity, the crescent moon is the symbol of Islam.
