Guinea-Bissau Flag

Guinea-Bissau adopted its flag on September 24, 1973.  The red vertical stripe represents the blood shed during the long struggle for independence from Portugal, the yellow horizontal stripe stands for the sun and the green horizontal stripe symbolizes hope.  The black star is meant to convey African unity.

Made in America, Guinea-Bissau flags are 100% durable nylon.  Bright colors, finished with canvas heading and two large brass grommets.
