Vermont State Flags

Vermont's flag shows a pine tree, which is often seen in flags from New England.  The cows and wheat sheaves represent dairy and agriculture.  The Green Mountains are pictured in the distance.  Vermont's flag is based on the state seal that was adopted in 1779.
