Miniature Bunker Hill Flag
This flag was used by American patriots in their battle to protect Bunker and Breed's Hills overlooking Boston Harbor in June of 1775. May early Colonial flags had been made by altering the English flag and most still contained a reference to the mother country. The Bunker Hill flag did not contain any portion of the Union Jack and was a declaration that the Americans wanted to be free from violation of their liberties.
