Miniature Nigeria Flag

Silk-like flags measure 4" x 6"  and are securely attached to 10" black staffs topped with gilt spears.  All four sides are sewn.  Bright colors.  They are perfect for everything from long term desk display to parade and celebration giveaways.

Nigeria adopted its flag on October 1, 1960, the very day the country gained independence from Great Britain.  The simple design was the result of a flag contest, won by Michael Taiwo Akinkunmi, a student who was studying in England at the time.
