Turkmenistan Flag

Located in southwest central Asia, the flag of Turkmenistan carries the Islamic symbols of a white crescent and five stars.  The five white pointed stars also represent the five regions of the country.  On the left side of the flag is a red strip with five popular carpet designs, these represent the famous carpet industry of Turkmenistan.
