Sweden Flag

The Swedish flag has been used for hundreds of years and because of that, its origins are somewhat unknown.  Its colors may echo the colors of the royal coat of arms, dating back to 1275.  While the flag of Sweden is now the typical rectangle, the earliest known Swedish flags had long tails, sometimes two and often three.
