Belarus Flag
The national flag of Belarus was adopted in 1995. Comprised of two horizontal stripes, red for the country's past and the blood shed for independence, and green representing the forests and fields of Belarus as well as hope and eternal spring. The decorative red design on a white background on the extreme left side of the flag symbolizes the country's rich cultural heritage.
