Azerbaijan Flag

Azerbaijan flag has three equal stripes (blue, red and green).  In the center of the middle red stripe is an eight pointed star representing the eight branches of its people.  The blue stripe stands for Turks, red for progress and green for Islam.  The official name of the country is the Republic of Azerbaijan.
