Micronesia Flag

Micronesia adopted its flag on November 10, 1979.  The official name of the country is the Federated States of Micronesia, four islands make up the federation - Chuuk, Pohnpei,Kosrae and Yap.  The four white stars on Micronesia's flag represent these islands.  The blue background is meant to represent the Pacific Ocean.
