Comoros Flag

The flag of Comoros became official on January 7, 2002.  The crescent, stars and green color represent Islam which is the dominant religion of Comoros.  The four colors - yellow, white, red and blue - symbolize the four islands of the nation (Moheli, Mayotte, Anjouan and Grand Comore.)  The four stars on the flag also represent these islands.
